History

The tourism industry recognizes that nature preservation is a core necessity as well as the involvement of local communities to conserve their cultural heritage.

To reply to this statement, Exotissimo Travel decided in 2006 to development its own Sustainable Tourism Department to monitor sustainable development policies for the group. This is an initiative with the objective of protecting wild areas and cultural effects, which we are passionate about.

Exotissimo’s Sustainable Tourism Department aims to improve our sustainable policies in order to be able to reply adequately to the main cultural, socio-economic and environmental concerns. But before all, it seeks to work more closely with the locals and involve them and their skills and culture in the tourism sector and enable them to profit of this flow.
